Yoga Pilates

Hot yoga

Practiced in an infrared heated room at 34 degrees, this class offers a series of postures that encourage deep core strengthening, balance, and stretching with guided relaxation to close the class and integrate the benefits of hot yoga. The heat will provide an extra challenge and can require a higher level of physical and mental focus, enhancing the mind-body connection. Expect to sweat & detoxify! Bring a towel and a bottle of water. This class is accessible to all levels.

SH VINYASA

Connect with the powerful effects of yoga on energetic, psychological, and spiritual levels. These sessions are dynamic in nature with an energetic & creative flow led by our experienced instructors. We encourage our teachers to adapt their teaching experience and knowledge to the practice, making every class unique. Expect to be challenged, as this class will offer progressions and may include breath practices, soulful movement, and stronger asanas. This class is practiced at 24 degrees.

SH Gentle FLOW

Welcomes all levels of yoga experience including beginners to the practice. A breath-focused sequence with mindful movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance & flexibility. Postures are held for longer with slower transitions and options given to suit all bodies. The slow rhythmic movements soothe and relax the nervous system and encourage mind-body connection. This class is practiced at 24 degrees.

Introspective Yin-style poses are held for 3-5 minutes to unravel stored emotional, mental, and physical tension. As fascia gradually releases, let yourself relax and unwind with this deeply nourishing and grounding practice. This class is practiced at 24 degrees.

REST AND RESTORE

Rest & Restore is the Yoga practice that actively responds to the stress and busyness of our modern lives - it's the Yoga that we all need more of, even if we don't know it yet...this is truly Yoga for everyone. These 75-minute classes explore restorative yoga and breath-work to deeply nourish the nervous & endocrine systems and restore balance on all levels.

 

Hot mat

During this powerful 45-minute class, heat meets the power of mat pilates for a truly transformative experience! Practiced on the mat in a room heated at approximately 34°; these classes combine pilates principles along with cardio elements and core-toning, body-strengthening benefits. Get ready for a full-body workout that will allow you to sweat, sculpt and have fun.

HOT STRENGTH PILATES

Hot Strength Pilates is focused on building functional strength with small bursts of cardio added to elevate the heart rate. We focus on repetition, super-setting muscle groups with core work and a burst of cardio to elevate the heart rate. During this 45-minute class we work through the same sequence twice, encouraging heavier weights on the second round to build muscle strength. The class will always finish with an intention-set, cool down and time to reconnect with your body.

SH Reformer power

A 45-minute full-body workout, adding weights and other props to intensify your class with a focus on strengthening and toning the body. SH Power classes also have an added burst of cardio and offer extra progressions to really challenge every individual.  You will leave this class feeling energised.  All our classes can be modified but we recommend starting with SH Flow classes if you’re new to reformer pilates

SH REFORMER jump

SH Jump is a 45-minute-high energy, low-impact workout. The Jump boards are designed to boost the intensity of your pilates class. Reformer Jump has a focus on improving coordination, improving joint mobility and is a good cardiovascular workout. We recommend starting with a SH Flow class if you are new to reformer.

SH REFORMER FLOW

A perfect class for all levels. Our 45-minute Flow class starts with a stretch moving into a full-body workout. In this class, you may use props such as the pilates circle or ball to help support with technique and/or to add an extra challenge. SH Reformer Flow finishes with a few moments of mindfulness and connection to breath. This class is suitable for beginners as well as experienced clients. All exercises in this class can be modified, making it accessible for everybody.
