Welcome to Soul Haven; Yoga + Pilates
My personal journey started with a hot yoga class 6 years ago. During the time, I was experiencing life changes and heartbreaking loss, yoga gave me the tools to slow down, press pause and embrace my new life. The studio soon became my 'go to', my 'safe haven'. From there, I was hooked.
I became aware of how yoga was serving others in my local community and with a previous experience as a health professional and businesses owner, I was curious to know more and feel into the space of wellness and self-care. This led me to become Director and Partner of the studio (formerly known as Grass Roots Yoga Mornington).
The vibrant community and welcoming teachers laid the foundations for what became a love affair with yoga and mindful movement. I call this place my original haven; it has always welcomed me and supported my practice. In September 2019, I ventured out on my own with a new business structure and vision, rebranding the studio to Soul Haven; Yoga.
Why the semicolon ; you may wonder? It signifies to slow down, pause and create space between thoughts... this is the essence of yoga; guiding our conscious awareness to the present moment in order to nourish our bodies physically, emotionally and spiritually. In this way, we nurture our soul — our life!
The first 2 years in the rebranded business been very challenging and this means I have evolved personally and professionally, together with the brand and my vision fostering creativity and community which both have been instrumental this change.
My goal is for you to fall in love with the studio spaces and the mindful experience as I did, and to experience the shifts that yoga and movement can bring; time for all our students, teachers and wider community to nourish, connect and evolve.
So where to from here? Gift yourself an hour of mindful movement, join our community, as we support you to bring life into balance.
We look forward to welcoming you the new look Soul Haven; Yoga + Pilates.
