Alexis Poulopoulos

To Alexis, yoga and pilates is a space to breathe, be authentic, and to self-express. It is a practice where movement and breath align, in order to unify both the mind and body. It is a sense of coming home. At 18, Alexis began practicing yoga at a local studio and quickly fell in love with the feeling of freedom she gained after she practiced. After three years on the mat, she embarked on her journey as a yoga teacher in order to share the practice with others. Trained in Vinyasa and yin yoga, Alexis holds space for her students to be creative, be challenged and be truly themselves. She believes that yoga is for everybody, and uses her knowledge of physiology to support her students through each pose.

Recently, Alexis has added to her repertoire by completing her mat pilates teacher training with Barre Body. She believes that pilates and yoga work hand in hand, and create the perfect balance of strength and stability. In each class, whether it be yoga or pilates, Alexis strives to help each student feel energised, supported and more aligned.
